The Brexit referendum campaign in June 2016 and the subsequent triggering of Article 50 in March 2017 didn’t just set the agenda for the UK government for the foreseeable future. These momentous events have also exposed ruptures and fault lines in UK society and reignited tensions in relation to the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Brexit is a rapidly evolving situation and regardless of how the ‘dust settles’ it is one which will significantly change our nation and our society for decades to come. So the Spring 2019 series will use material produced by the Corrymeela Community and we will EXPLORE BREXIT THROUGH THE LENS OF RUTH There will be five thematic Bible Study Sessions – • January 29th • February 12th and 26th • March 12th and 26th Running parallel there will also be four Brexit through the Lens of Ruth Sunday Services – • January 20th • February 10th and 24th • March 31st Our sessions are 10am for Tea/Coffee with a 10:30 start. The sessions will finish at about 11:30. We will meet in the John Williams Room. All sessions will be led by Rev David Pattie
